There is a catalina offer I saw on the Mealbox site and in store for buying 2 marinades and getting a catalina for $1.50.  It was quite confusing while I was at the store as to which were included.  I can confirm that the Soy Sauces ARE NOT included.  The marinades are $2.56 and the sauces are $1.56.  Darn!

I looked for the Land O Lakes Fresh Buttery Spread at Hill Rd and they didn’t carry it.  Bummer!  Just in case your store does you can grab this deal.

I had another crabby cashier today too!  I took my 4 free product coupons to the uscan lady because I knew they would beep.  I thought I was being nice because she didn’t have to leave her computer and help me, I was wrong.  She only put in one of my coupons and it was for .59 off instead of the $1.18 it should have been.  So I walked back over and explained what happened.  She got so frustrated with me that she said ‘Jeeze my Dad just died and this is worse’.  Really?!

This is a very small week for Meijer deals for me.  They are having a Meijer brand 10 for 10 sale and it just isn’t that good to me.  I regret not getting the shredded cheese last week at $1.50 because I had to buy it this week for $2!  I am thinking that $1.50 is going to be my new buy price for cheese.

I only paid $9.79 and $4 of that was that darn cheese!  I would give the Hill Rd Meijer some time to stock back up because they only had the 4 juices I bought left and very minimal applesauce choices left. They had cherry and peach flavors of applesauce on the shelves.

I ran into  Meijer to pick up some  more lube because I am giving up on any Walmart stores having it in stock… EVER!  I also learned that the Walmart warehouse is out of the Schick women’s disposable razors priced at $1.97.  I am sure they can’t keep up since there is a $2 coupon out there making them free.  Another silly thing with their ordering at the Burton store is that they are out of 2oz KY but only have 12 arriving in 3 days!  Only having 12 for the store with the abundance of $3 KY printables and coupons from the paper is just not enough.

I very very briefly looked at the ad and mPerks and saw a couple things that perked my interest enough to walk some aisles after I got my lube.  After going over my receipt I sure do get cranky when they don’t take the coupons off right!  I had one heck of a time at Meijer today so be prepared!

Did you know that Meijer has a $20 coupon limit per order?  I didn’t and let me tell you save yourself some headache and split those orders up!  You would think that the cashier, who looked through the coupons, would have said ‘hey we need to break these up’.  Not so much.  She tried to scan them all and once they started giving her problems said ‘oh we can’t use more than $20 in coupons’.  We could have saved some headache and fixed it before this.

This week at Meijer was a must shop for me because I am gearing up for another freezer meal cooking spree this weekend since I used my last one last night!  This is another week of catalina deals so you are going to do a ton of transactions to get the most out of your money.  I spent $45.27 in 6 transactions and have $10 to go back.  I had to rearrange my trip last minute because Michael was getting fussy in the checkout!  I hate having catalinas in my wallet but the baby rules over everything!  :)

So there wasn’t much that intrigued me this week at Meijer but I couldn’t pass up the coffee deal since those can be quite rare when you Husband is not willing to drink anything outside of Folgers.  He is so expensive!  Electric toothbrushes and coffee… jeez o petes!

So I bought two Black Silks at $6.99 which cost me $13.98.  It sucks but you have to keep him happy and if he buys it I will spend $10 each.  I was going to be $20 under our $50 budget this week but I picked up the coffee deal so I am only $7 under our budget.  That’s two weeks in a row that we are under!

With the right coupons Meijer is where it’s at this week!  I love when they have the 10 for 10 get the 11th free sales!  Old Orchard concentrates are usually always included in those sales and anytime I can get those for .75 it is fantastic because we used some of the flavors to make wine!  But I’m clearly not making wine right now haha.

My store finally got back the little bottles of Frank’s Red Hot Sauce so I grabbed 6 so I can stop looking for them every single week!  They are .99 normally priced and the .50 coupon makes them free so it’s a hot buy.  Michael adores that stuff!

I think I started to lose my mind at Meijer because it was my fourth shopping trip of the day and it was late!  I was pooped!  I had only grabbed 10 items and I wasn’t going to waste my free 11th item so I just grabbed this king size candy bar because it was included!

I was so happy that I had contacted Earthbound Farms and still had (4) $1 coupons because the carrots are free and we can use those in the veggie tray this Saturday!

So you can’t go to Meijer anymore without a big coupon deletion during checkout but at least this week the cashiers were knowledgeable and didn’t look at me like I was trying to scam the company out of money.  I guess the whole coupon deletion is widespread and there isn’t anything they can do about it because it’s bigger than the store level.

But this week it also worked out in my favor because it appears that I was given $2.50 in additional coupons on my receipt bringing my total t0 $1.  I have no idea why it rang up that way and I told her she could change it but she said it was no big deal.  She thinks it was the Hunts printable coupon that cleared out all of the rest because I did not have a coupon for every item this time due to the candy and the bag of salad.  I did that on purpose because they don’t let you use a coupon towards a free item at Meijer.

So for $1 I happily left the store!  Not a bad sale even if it would have been the full $3.50 in my opinion.

Hmm… going to Meijer on Memorial Day is probably not the smartest thing I have ever done but I always go on Mondays so that’s what happened.  It was a mad house in there!  I don’t know what states everyone is from but Michigan is roasting right now!  Tornado yesterday and outrageous heat today.  I am a Fall girl so this is killing me!

Of course I ran out of the house and forgot 3 coupons so I am missing 2 Smart Balance milks, 1 Parkay butter and 2 Glad Cling Wraps.  If my head weren’t connected I swear…  I also brought a small bag of bottles to cover my OOP so the cashier handed me back .02 because I paid the balance with $1.60 in bottles.

I forgot to put in the match ups before I wrote this post that Nestle candy bars are .74 and you can use the .50/2 coupon from 5/1 SS to get them each .24.  I wanted to get as close to not being paid as I could so this was a great find for me.  Getting paid sort of screws up my savings spreadsheet.

I redeemed a free coupon for Yoplait, Breve creamer and Cottonelle wipes which is always a fun trip!  I saved $11.57 on this trip and walked out getting back .02.

For some reason Meijer is voiding out coupons on orders when you pay with a catalina and when you stack mPerks with coupons.  It is bizarre and completely annoying so watch your total!  The cashier in both instances has had to go back and manually enter the coupon amount versus scanning them in.  I would love to know why these computers are causing problems!
