You love to make beautiful food, but you don’t have the time and money to really invest in anything complex. Well, worry no more! Here are five dessert recipes that are not only affordable but easy to make and look like you spent hours in the kitchen.

Gelatin Strawberry Parfait–A very simple recipe with only three ingredients. This recipe is also diet friendly and so easy to make that anyone can do it. All you need are some pretty glasses and you’ve got a tasty dessert that looks gorgeous.

Frozen Lemon Soufflé–A great summer dessert that you can easily personalize to your tastes. Who doesn’t love the fresh taste of lemons and berries? Even though the recipe is from Martha Stewart, it is still an easy and cheap dessert.

Flag Fruit Pizza–Another berry recipe that’s great for summer (especially the 4th of July), this is a very easy and tasty dessert. A store bought sugar cookie crust takes all the effort out of it. Just have fun decorating and watch it be gobbled up!

Rainbow Cake–So beautiful and so easy! All you need is white cake mix, white icing, and some food coloring. The baking of each layer does take a little longer, but the end result will have people asking you how you ever made something so beautiful.

Mini Cherry Pies–Aren’t they just the cutest pies you’ve ever seen? The great idea to use cupcake tins to bake mini pies is genius. To make this recipe even easier, use store bought pie crusts (the roll-out kind) and canned pie filling. Tada, done!

Whether you are throwing a party or just wanting to make something splendid for dessert, these five recipes will hit the spot. Try them out at your next event and people will be asking where you ever got the time to spend making such luscious desserts.
